Travellers' names must appear exactly as on their government issued ID brought to the airport. Passengers with mismatched names may face additional difficulties while passing through security, or even be denied boarding.
Name changes are not allowed by most of the airlines, and usually name corrections are not permitted either. An airline will generally allow a change in cases where the misspelled name is less than three characters or when the first and last name are reversed.
